2 years’ progress making an Open World Adventure - I’d love to hear your feedback


I'd be really grateful for any comments or dms with your thoughts on how much potential the project has and how the game stacks up against the following design pillars:

  • Exploration
  • Combat
  • Atmosphere
  • Dialogue, Characters are still evolving

Current features:

  • Demo scene is around 1 km 0.6 miles square
  • Provides around 1-2 hours of gameplay
  • Sword shield melee combat
  • Longbow ranged combat
  • Fireball spell ranged combat
  • Humanoid enemies
  • Quest system with several basic quests
  • Potion brewing
  • Shop system
  • A very raw stealth system

Other points:

  • UI is prototyped - I want to fully refine functionality before polishing the design
  • Multiple classes are/will be available - the demo starts with Warrior class
  • There are some cave systems to explore but are still a bit empty
